Overview

Designed especially for fire fighters, the Anderson Mobile Cutting Unit  (MCU) is a trolley that holds all of the heavy cutting equipment. It is stowed in the vehicle and removed remotely via hydraulic arms.

Once quickly deployed, the MCU is pulled to the incident. There the hydraulic power unit can be operated from within the trolley.

Technical

• Non corrosive Stainless steel trolley
• Deployed in 6 seconds from the vehicle
• Stows more equipment than a cradle and will hold 250 kgs

Advantages

• Once on the ground the MCU can be quickly pulled to the incident
• It has a comprehensive breaking and steering system making it easy to manoeuvre quickly
• Lives will be saved by the increased response time of getting the equipment there faster
• Less fire fighters are required to remove all of the cutting gear allowing others to tend to the victims
